Jehovah’s coming to the tabernacle Moses erected in the wilderness and to the temple Solomon built in Jerusalem foreshadows his end-time coming to the new, millennial temple. Prophets will there again speak with Jehovah face to face. While his people who repent and prove faithful will welcome his coming and participate in a glorious new age for humanity, those who rebel against him will perish from the earth.
Isaiah 62:11–12Jehovah has made proclamation to the end of the earth:
Tell the Daughter of Zion,
See, your Salvation comes,
his reward with him, his work preceding him.
They shall be called the holy people,
the redeemed of Jehovah.
Isaiah 35:3–4Strengthen the hands grown feeble,
steady the failing knees.
Say to those with fearful hearts,
Take courage, be unafraid!
See, your God is coming to avenge and to reward;
God himself will come and deliver you.
Isaiah 40:5The glory of Jehovah shall be revealed
and all flesh see it at once.
By his mouth Jehovah has spoken it.
Isaiah 33:17Your eyes shall behold the King in his glory
and view the expanse of the earth.
Isaiah 59:19–20From the west men will fear Jehovah Omnipotent,
and from the rising of the sun his glory.
For he will come [upon them] like a hostile torrent
impelled by the Spirit of Jehovah.
But he will come as Redeemer to Zion,
to those of Jacob who repent of transgression.
