Many metaphorical terms function as keywords that link together all parts of the Book of Isaiah. Acting as pseudonyms or aliases of (1) Israel’s God Jehovah; (2) his end-time servant David; and (3) the end-time king of Assyria, they add another dimension to Isaiah’s end-time scenario.
